Social Climate Support Team
The Social Climate Support Team works with students and employees to provide support when an individual has experienced bias, racism, or microaggressions. As an institution of higher education, we welcome a broad array of expression and thought from many different perspectives. Behaviors and speech that show bias hate are harmful to not only those who experience them, but to our broader university community.
The Social Climate Support Team includes representatives from the following USU offices:
- USU Inclusion Center
- Student Affairs
- Office of Equity
- Human Resources
- University Marketing and Communications
- Aggies Think Care Act
- Counseling and Psychological Services
- General Counsel
When an incident does not rise to the level of a policy violation, the Social Climate Support Team offers support and resources to those affected. Complete this form if you would like to seek support for yourself or another in our university community. Please provide as much detail as possible.
USU encourages everyone in the campus community to embrace our principles of community around diversity, human dignity, and social responsibility.
The Campus Climate Support team supports USU's Principles of Community.
